Cool find on my free W.E. 500

They work with soft, I did a WE500 1958 and it worked even better than a thermoplastic

Yeah, well sadly that was me who sanded that 1500.  It was quite the ordeal, and when I was done I'd managed to remove most of the skin on my fingertips which then took weeks to grow back.  I also used strong fingernail polish remover in between sanding coats to remove even more yellowing.

To make a long story short, in my opinion I would only sand a phone again if the discolor was very, very mild.
