I'm thinking about changing the housing for a cracked beige (ivory or dirty white) Stromberg Carlson 1586W to a yellow housing. There's a little more involved in changing out the dial plate. I've never tried that.

Do I have every thing I need to change out the color on this SC 1586W? The yellow handset caps are from a WE.

If there are more pictures needed let me know. Also if someone can direct me to the site or topic regarding "How To" change the dial plate I would appreciate it.

The dial center parts shown in the picture are for a WE dial.  They will not be needed for this phone.  Just keep the original finger wheel and center ring.

You may be able to use the transmitter cup from the old handset in the new one.
