I just won this brown ITT desktop off of Ebay.  It was a BIN and I just couldn't resist!  Something special and unusual about this one.  I'll let you review the photo and guess for yourself ;)

It's hard to tell whether the cord is black or gray, but gray seems more likely than black. It doesn't belong on the phone age- or colorwise.
I am not sure I'd want to spend that amount for finding out.

Perhaps I am missing something of significance, but other than the mismatched handset cord, it appears to be a very common ITT brown telephone that is typically seen at a garage sale or Goodwill.

I messaged the seller.  They said it was gray.  I'm hopeful because I need one.

I saw that one, and thought Mahogany (since it had the grey cord), but said "nah".

Hope the cord is in good shape!

A phone phanatic since I was less than 2 (thanks to Fisher Price); collector since a teenager; now able to afford to play!

Wow, nice find!

I saw that, but I figured the cord was just a dusty brown. I didn't think anything of it.
