We just picked up a pair of studio lighting for our photo booth and I must say it does wonders for pictures!
These were all taken with an iPhone 7 Plus using Portrait Mode.
what type of lighting did you use?
I'm guessing you got a couple of soft-lights (or soft-boxes as they're also called), they're useful for all kinds of photography and videography... :)

We already had the box, but I upgraded our lighting to these:
Continuous-Lighting-4-Socket-Softboxes-Photography (https://www.amazon.ca/Continuous-Lighting-4-Socket-Softboxes-Photography/dp/B01G7LRBES/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1507740368&sr=8-2&keywords=photo+lighting)
I am using standard LED lights ($0.50 ea, Canadian Tire), but the colour temp is a little low (too much yellow).

Very nice pictures. Nice looking phone also. What box are you using?

I'm unsure of the make. Its pretty old, I would say around 7 or 8 years old. I will snap a pic of our rig and post it.

I use our electrical closet, since its the only room we have with no windows. Our rig consists of two soft-boxes on stands, one on either side and a downward firing light on top. With this set up it basically eliminates all shadows.
I use a similar soft box and have lights positioned the same as yours, but I'm using cheap incandescent bulbs. I may just have to upgrade to a couple of those light boxes. Very nice.
If you're willing to wait a few weeks, Banggood has a few options for reasonably affordable softboxes:
