Bought the red phone on ebay for $15 mostly for parts but it became a challenge.  (Some may have seen it)

A little buffing and a dab of paint did wonders for this abused phone.  I now use it as my office phone.  I'm using an LB1 receiver and a T1 transmitter so the sound quality is quite good and volume is loud.

Outstanding job sir. I really love it when people rescue these old phones from the grip of the trash man! Your avatar is very cool too.

I've been pretty quite on the forum the last few days, but I have to post about this. It looks stunning! I must say, I'm glad you saw potential in a phone like that.

Thanks Jorge and Ben for the nice comments. I find these phones great fun and a nice diversion from the humdrum of daily routine.

Chuck...wonderful job. Was the phone a 410 or a 305. Where it had the hole, I am curious. Great job! A picture of the inside of the shell and the base would be great. Usually a 410 would be marked on the bottom of the phone...Doug
