WE302 leather footpads cleaning?

Almost done with my 302 restoration.  The last piece is the footpads.  They're leather and seem to be in great condition overall.  I just wanted to maybe clean and moisten them up a bit.  I had thought of using baby oil or saddle wax...

Any advice would be appreciated!
