This was on ebay and just ended, no bids, no watchers. It was a 1964 light blue WE 500 with an open-center finger wheel. Could it have been a turquoise?

I think its aqua blue, but what I am confused, if it is the origional dial, why does it have an open center finger wheel? I thought by 64 they had converted over to the newer style.

No. What makes the Turquoise model open-center special is the fact that they introduced turquoise in 1964, and in 1965, they introduced the closed centers, so this was a one-year-only deal.

Yes, I know that. But I think they introduced the closed centers before 1964. And I'm pretty sure its not turquoise..
