I have had this phone since I was a boy, found it in the trash, wrong handset w. cord, broken cradle and missing dial center.
Thanks to a fellow collector, I got a new cradle and a dial center. He had the handset with wrong transmitter cap too, but now its working.

Tuned up the dial from 8 to 10 pulses pr sec. Its working and as original, a bell tinkle you have to hear to believe.  This 600 ohms non biased ringer "pings" at each pulse, and of course when when polarity reverses.

The pictures shows how compact this design from before 1928 actually is, The phone has "everything" anti-side-tone, ringer and dial.

The line wire is new, and the jack is maybe from the 60-ies, one of many German standards ;)
