Title: ID Help URGENT!
Post by: Fabius on April 01, 2016, 06:36:12 PM
I'm at the Indiana show. What is this? There's a paper tag that says 301a2 value?

It's a 301 type KSU, using 1A1 technology (relays rather than plug-in cards.)  4 lines, pick-up and hold, with a manual intercom unit as part of the interrupter section. It will operate just like a 1A2 KSU with WE, ITT, or S-C key sets. You can add a 207 dial intercom to the bottom rail. In fact, the wiring harness for the 207 is probably right there, stored away.  Probably worth up to a max of $100 unless you really really really want it.  I've seen them go for as little as $50 and as much as $150. The 20B2 power unit next to it is required to make it work.   Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. After I posted the ID question I found a fully equipped WECO 551C. With ring gen and power supply. $40. We tested it and it seems good. I think that was a good deal.

I think I paid $40 for just my ring generator. Well bought!

I want that 1A1 unit! I have never seen 1A1 in that relatively modern apparatus cabinet.
