But he does have a sense of humor, in his own way, in being honest about what he thinks of these boxes - which fits with the reason this topic was created in the first place. The quote below is from his listing for one of the boxes.

"A Magic 3-Slot Self Locking Coin Can Still With A Lead Seal:  Over the past 10 years I've sold hundreds of rebuilt payphones on Ebay. I never included a self locking coin can with any payphone. Using them is nothing but trouble. I hate them!

Unfortunately, I now find myself with quite a pile of them. What should I do? Make them dumpster food or sell them on Ebay with a warning?

Since they survived for so many years I don't feel I have the right to throw them out. Doing that would generate BAD KARMA! So, here is the auction for the forth one and here is the warning.

Buy and use this coin can at your own risk. I tested it and it worked perfectly. That doesn't mean it won't jam in your payphone. If it does and you have to cut it out of the phone don't blame me!"
