Even with free shipping, is this really worth $27K or is this a price typo?

That is one cool phone - but it's certainly not in my price range!

Maybe the seller meant to say 25K Swedish krona -- even so, that would be more than $3,700 US!

It's so nice he dosent want anyone to buy it :  "Honey, I listed that phone you hated on Ebay but nobody bid on it, guess I'll have to keep it. Anyone for more Lutefisk?"

I've never seen one of these.

If I knew it's approximate value, I would then be able to tell if the seller was bragging about having something no one else has and be a bit jealous, is out of his mind or what you said.

I'm just curious and wouldn't have posted an active auction had it not had such a high starting bid.

 looks like a  intercom with that pushbutton and no magneto.
External battery box i'd guess.  maybe a hotel phone with low voltage ringers.
