Here's one that I just won ($5 + $10s/h). 1971 2500D-61 with nice reverse-painted faceplate. Pretty fair price for a gray one.
It looks a bit sunburned. This would probably be a good candidate for the peroxide treatment.

Only slightly discolored. It looks better in person than in the picture. Maybe, just some dilute Clorox in sunlight for a few hours.
Good find! I missed that one. I've been looking for hardwired 2500s lately. I was watching a nice green one, but didn't bid on it, sold for only $15, I believe, which is more than reasonable. There's just something about nonmodular touchtone that I really like. ---Eric

I've had pretty good results with light gray and bleaching. And yes, that's a great price for that phone in that color, faded or not. Do we have a November finds thread yet?

Sure do! No competitors yet either....

I haven't tried bleach yet on light gray phones (color -61), but I have several that could use it. When I have a little free time, I'll select a part from the least valuable one and do some experimenting.

O.K. This one seems like a good candidate, so I'll nominate it.
