Title: Stromberg Carlson 2554 B/M
Post by: Tom B on May 31, 2013, 03:06:11 PM
I've recently won a a bright red SC 2554 B/M on eBay UK for the very acceptable sum of 99p or $1.49. It had no handset or line cords, which isn't a problem as I have both in my spares box. The network is one I'm not familiar with - a 4228. Does anyone have a wiring diagram? The phone is a hard wired 1975 model.

4228 is electrically equivalent to the 425B. Maybe a few extra spare terminals.

All 500 networks:

Input: C and RR
Output: B (transmitter), GN (receiver), R (common trans/rec)

Thanks for that. I 'll wire it up tomorrow and give it a test.

Darn it!!! I knew someone here must have won that!! I had the page waiting for me to bid and got distracted with a youtube video, and I only realised I missed the end when the page reloaded and I noticed the swirly "Loading..." thing going on the ebay tab... :-\

Still, you got a bargain there, I just wish I had got it instead... :D
