Title: WE 349 Transmitter on a Dial Stick
Post by: Doug Rose on April 08, 2012, 10:14:19 AM
Anyone have any information on a 349 Transmitter. I found it on a WE dial stick, upside down; of course! I have never seen one before...thanks...Doug

If I recall correctly the 349 was used on U S Army Signal Corp radio microphones.

It should work fine on a candlestick.

Here is the stick with the 349 after a LOT or elbow grease. I didn't have a dial at the moment, so as a place holder I put my open face thick cross finger wheel. I have a new old stock handset cord some place

The 349 I have came with two cords terminated in alligator clips.  It is insulated.
