That's the oldest GTO I've ever heard of! Was it horse-drawn, or perhaps steam-powered?!? ;D
yes!
Got to have the blue perl !

didn't know there was enough room for an induction coil in the E1 ringer box, or the D1 base.
Another Blue Pearl!!! What are the odds...Same seller.....same estate sale...same can of paint ... 8)....Doug

That's your last chance to have the blue perl!
The blue perl 302 is already gone, too.

Vintage 1940's Blue Pearl Western Electric 302 Rotary Phone (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1940s-Blue-Pearl-Western-Electric-302-Rotary-Phone-/161464835607?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25980dde17)
Blue Pearl? Looks black to me.
This looks to have some kind of dark blue metallic "cast" to it....

Maybe it's one of them indigo-black models, or someone resprayed the phone with a blue pearlescent paint, so the black is still there, but it has that blue sheen to it, that or someone's basing the description on poor lighting... :)
Same seller:

Same can of paint!
Okay, now I see the blue!!!
I guess that explains it, everything they own has to be painted with that blue paint..... ???
Speaking of indigo 302s, would an Indigo 302 be considered a color version? I don't know if I should put mine in my color 302 display or keep it with my black ones...
BTW, that paint does not look good on a 302, or any phone for that matter...;D
Ha, thats funny. The only way i recognized the indigo color was through the translucent hookswich cover plastic. I got one by accident earlier this year. Its in sad shape, lots of small stress cracks and a cracked in an ear. Is it worth restoring?

That's all I see, bad pics of a nothing-real-special black 302.
I think my wife has nail polish in that color.

"Part they left out" - he was a janitor at the local CO.
PS: I just merged all of the special "Blue Pearl" phones into this one topic so we can set up a "take a number" system for collectors to obtain their very own example from the seller.
