Title: FOR SALE *** Bell System 302s and 1895 NET&T flange sign
Post by: Sargeguy on September 16, 2018, 12:33:46 PM
I am selling a couple of Western Electric date matched 302s. Both have dates from mid-late 1945.

Ex– Pioneers Museum 302 in good condition. Case is intact with no significant damage. Tile shows signs of wear. Cords are servicable but tattered. The insides are very clean and the dates are all from 45. The transmitter element is from 1947 and the receiver element is missing. The phone is wired handset and line cords are reversed. I thought this was an error but two other phones from the same lot were wired this way. It must have been a CO thing. The Pioneer label indicates this was from the Providence chapter.

$25 + S&H

Ex– Pioneers Museum 302 in good condition. Case is intact with no significant damage. The 150-B dial plate looks very nice, no wear. The vinyl handset cord is good, the line/switchboard cord is tattered. The insides are very clean and the dates are all from 45. The transmitter and receiver elements are from 1941. The phone is wired handset and line cords are reversed. I thought this was an error but two other phones from the same lot were wired this way. It must have been a CO thing. 1895 pattern 18" New England Telephone & Telegraph Company vitreous enamel/porcelain flanged sign.  The sign is in very good condition overall with very few dings.  The sign was made by Imperial in London and has some of the typical characteristics of signs from this manufacturer. The blue portion on the front side has some crazing on the blue portion.  these are a network of tiny cracks that reflect the light in different ways depending on the light. The back has some white spots where the enamel is worn.

$300

Shipping in the lower US should be approximately $20.
