I just sold a 300 series type phone from 1960 and the selling price took me by surprise! I thought this weird 300 phone was a $20-30 but it went for $113 with 10 bids! And it had a crack! Can somebody explain?

oh, I was wondering who owned it.  I would have kept it.   A 329 is hard to come by.

Was the housing stamped with  P-339939, instead of an H-type ?

What's it for Karl, a carrier system ?

The 329 was the 302-style adaptation for use in No. 101 and 102A key systems.

The 329A is manual, and 329C has a dial.

Thanks Paul.    Interesting to note that the date of BSP 502-400-407, is Feb. 1966, and it shows the 329 desk set.   I would assume from that fact, that it would be reasonable to assume that repair technicians could still expect to encounter the set and the 101 & 102A  key systems during that time period.

Cool! I'm surprised they used a 300 series this late. It seems easy to put these 'components' ! Or lack of components, in a modern 500 shell. Let me check the housing.
