Title: Butler's telephone table
Post by: Pourme on January 02, 2018, 06:45:14 PM
~

I never would have known what this was had I not seen one in Facebook marketplace a while back. I was walking through one of my regular "collectible" stores and this was sitting there kinda shuffled back into the corner, almost out of sight.

The one I saw on FB was $135.00, but was in really good condition as best I could tell. This one needs some love and care, nothing I can't handle. For $35.00 I jumped on it! Of course the phone, phone book and the pencil wasn't included. I already have a traditional gossip bench table I display my pink WE500 on. I love to find unusual pieces to help display my collection on.

If you know more about these tables please share.

Benny

Here's a thread from two years ago with several telephone tables pictured.

Thanks, Ed. Right now it is in pieces on the work bench getting a face lift. I'll post a after pic when done...
