Very cool Robbie. You certainly don't see this set very often. Compared with its abundant rotary brother, there could not have been many of these made. Its a beauty....Doug

Last year, a 2211 sold on eBay for about $700.  So, unless that book was originally dug up along with the Dead Sea Scrolls, it's safe to assume that you got the better part of the deal!  Congratulations, it is indeed a very rare and desirable phone.

Note that Ray Kotke has made reproduction tops to allow you to convert your rotary set to touch tone.

The book at that time was worth about $100.00 .It had lots of Sumter telephones illistrated and a good section on the old 3 wire Strowger system.

THat is s nice example to have. 2211's are very hard to find.

I had a black 2211 years ago. When I bought it I had trouble deciding between a green 211 and the 2211.


I sold it years ago and have had some regret on getting rid of it. I think I sold it high for close to $200 delivered.
