Don't worry D/P; we're all drooling over this phone already:

Did you notice the "user name"??

I used to live on Staten Island - a lot of old houses and grandmothers and telephones.  Also a lot of attitude.

Dan/Panther

I originalkly came from New York, Upstate, but the city folks have an attitude.

I see he has relisted it, and at a new lower price ::)

And his wife Christine has gotten into the act with a carved horse, a gift from a past suitor,

And, as a personal observation, maybe they are selling these items at such high prices to take correspondence school lessons on how to spell.

And, I'm not a scholar by any means, but at least I can construct a sentence that is somewhat understandable. ;D. Check out the horse story.......................

The horse proves they are to be polite ignorant.  They are offering to ship USPS parcel post for $55.  If it is 3'6" tall and I'll assume 1' wide that gives a girth of 108".  That only leaves 22" for length and it looks longer than it is tall (3'6".) The limit is 130 length plus girth (all the way around.)  If they find a buyer they will give up profit for shipping.  The chair they have for sale has a shipping price in the description but the auction details says free.

Yep, I tend to agree Konrad.  Sounds like simple ignorance and not a scam.
Say, that horse doesn't look half bad... ;)
