I have a dark/faded beige 1955 WE 500 for sale! It's in pretty good condition, works perfectly. I say "dark/faded" because the tone of the beige is darker than usual. I'm not sure if "dark beige" exists, or if it's just faded. The link to my eBay listing is below: :)

Dark beige exists, but this is not it. This phone is light beige. Note the black numbers and letters on the dial face. Dark beige has white numbers and letters and its plastics are dated 1953 to 1957. Your phone is a refurb that dates to the mid-1960s and the handset looks like it could have been painted, which is why the color doesn't match. Just because there's a date on the bottom doesn't mean the entire phone dates to that date. They often refurbished phones along the way and sometimes they left refurb stamps and sometimes not. On this phone they even changed out the feet.

Since you said you weren't sure, I saw a need to set the record straight on this phone.
