Have had this sign with the 08 bell but have not seen it with 21 bell.
Has anyone else come across this one?

This is an early Illinois Bell sign. Made once Chicago Telephone became Illinois Bell. The style is similar to the Chicago Telephone '08 signs. Jeff Brown, a long time collector, has several of the Chicago signs.

Have had both the Chicago and Illinois signs with the 08 bell but how about with the 21 bell? Have never run across that one.

No, don't recall seeing a '21 Bell  in this style of Illinois Bell sign.

No, I actually noticed this the first time it went on eBay a couple weeks ago.  I thought it was very interesting.  I was going to start a post about it but was waiting for it either to sell or for the price to drop lower so I could rationalize buying it.
