Title: General Electric Fan (yard sale find)
Post by: Doug Rose on October 15, 2022, 12:31:44 PM
Janet found this beauty today at a yard sale. There were hardly any yard sales today. I did my first mass leaf collection (my hip is killing me!)  :'( . The sprinklers will be turned off today.  >:(

Winter is coming.

Working General Electric Fan Runs Silent Oscillates HEAVY!

Fans in this wonderful condition are a tough find. This is just a beauty. Runs silently and Oscillates as it should.

IT IS HEAVY!

21" tall, Cage is 18" and 10" front to back

This is NOT a childproof Fan

You got yourself a 50's 16" GE Vortalex and yes they are a bit heavy but, thankfully not as heavy as there predecessors that were all cast iron and brass. I had one of these years ago until it got sold, nice fans and put out the air. Of course you know yours is needing its felt covered base replaced, mama will raise Cain if you set that on her good table, LOL!
