Quote from: HarrySmith on January 17, 2023, 03:03:10 PMIt does look nice. Metal or plastic?'s plastic. You get back what you give so you need a lot of work on the body and handset, cleaning them as well as possible.

New painter is not as good as the previous painter, but it still came out really nice. I did get a yellow 202 done which came out amazing! I had a AE 47 that was going to be done in yellow as well, but it was lost switching painters.

I had customers looking for orange as well, so I am done with painting.....unless he does Orchid!

Richard Rose is a great relation.... ....Doug

Oldphoneworks offer a painting service.

A very nice example of a phone from their plating service shown here:

When you send phones out to be painted, parts get broken or lost.

I sent out a Leich 90 to be painted yellow. Body was lost as well as the transmitter cap.

When you get lemons, make lemonade so I made a Yellow and Black phone.

I found a matching dial card, and parts I had and I was pleased with the result....Doug
