Great web page with Western Electric phone pics

I just stumbled upon this great web page with lots of really nice pics of a history of Western Electric phones.

Among all the great phone pics, it includes a really nice portrait photo of the man to whom we owe so much for so many of these phones we love, Mr. Henry Dreyfuss (attached below, reduced in size from the one you can get on the site).

That picture at the top of the page with Alfred Hitchcock in the top left, that's a GPO 200-sereis pyramid phone, so they need to add "GPO/BT" to the "Hard wired" brands...

The author of that article says that most of those, the ones taken on a plain white background, are in his personal collection. 

Someone here ought to try to reach him and invite him to come on over here.

As I recall, JJ Sedelmaier used to hang around either the TCI or ATCA ( or both) listserves.

With what I've heard about flame wars on some of those other lists, I'm glad I mentioned that this place is G-rated with no cat-fights.   

Haven't heard back from him yet.
