The next step in my "Swedish American" phone is finding where the unconnected wires go.
After a lot of work tracing wires, and resoldering broken wires, I ended up with the schematic attached.

(IGNORE THE FIRST IMAGE WITH ONLY 1 CONNECTION FOR RINGER)

For the Hookswitch:
16 and 17 are connected on-hook
14 15 16 are connected off-hook

What should connect to 12 (Inductor)
What should connect to 1, 2, 3, 4 (in battery shelf)
Where does the transmitter get connected to?
What are the connections to 18, 19, 20 (which is Tip, Ring, what is 3rd connection)

I would prefer to have common battery wiring (I will remove magneto!)

Try this
The ind. coil looks odd, but it should work

There are ways to wire a LB phone to work on CB lines, just do a search of the forum.  You can also get yourself a nice Western Electric 293A or a 301A or 317 which can be wired for either CB or LB.they can be had pretty cheap.

More thinking, better solution. I have no pc here so it may be simple. A way to test out what I can do with only cell phone.

PS  A 330 ohms resistor across the transmitter may help if it is noisy or if it breaks the connection . DS
