I have my PTT T-65 phone here and just got done restoring it. It calls out fine, but does not ring! Please help. Is there anything that needs to be rewired, or will the ringer never work in the United States? I would greatly appreciate some help on this.

Looking at the conversion from PTT to UK, it looks as if you need to jumper terminal 3 to 4 (the BritishTelephones description says to add a 3.3k resistor, but that's for UK conversion)...

So, at a guess:

US Green to T1
US Red to T3
Jumper from T3 to T4

That might get it to ring... :)

Presumably, T4 is a ringer wire and T2 is a Ground wire, both for party line service or other types of shared servce...

I'm certain that you will find the answers you are seeking but I am equally uncertain as to how  appropriate it is to label your request as **URGENT!! Must Read**
