I bought this from Vern and I am very happy with it. the base and dial date is 8-59 the housing and handset are dated 64. This is my oldest white phone. I have it in the in a pan in the bathtub under a light bleaching out. Here are some pictures.

Kenny, are you using the peroxide method that I posted instructions for a while back? I guarantee you will get spectacular results if you do. Since this is 8-59, I suspect it is ABS, not tenite plastic, right?

Yes its ABS the case is  from 64. Does it matter if i use a particular type of light with the px. treatment

Yes, you need UV light for the chemical reaction. Or the sunlight.

Me and stub were on the phone and he used a flood light and it worked???

A regular light bulb (UV) will work or even a flourescent worked for me also.

Here it is pretty well done. It looks great but it could use a shot of the peroxide treatment. I am happy with it.

Dan,
This is the phone in the tub. I had it in 2 parts water 1 part bleach under lights. I am going to give it the peroxide treatment later on.
