New forum members are very welcome and encouraged to take a guess. After all, there are no wrong guesses, just one lucky one. No one knows the winning bid on any auction until it ends. However, it is important to get your guess in before someone else grabs your guess.

Listed about 12 hours ago in a 7 day auction with no reserve and starting at $300.00 is an early Gray Pay Station with a WE candlestick attached, both in what appear to be good condition. The key is included but the coin box is missing. The seller seems to know not of things telephonic but has provide good images, but not a complete set so there are some unknowns. Within the first five hours or so of the auction, two bidders each placed a bid putting the high bid at $305, so this pay station will sell. I'm sure the bids will increase but by how much. So, once again, the question is who will offer a guess closest to the winning bid when the auction ends?

NOTE: we will use a $5 gap rule between guesses again to prevent crowding. As such, keep your guess at least $5 away from prior guesses for this contest.

The seller listed it as an "Vintage Western Electric Candlestick W/ Gray Tel Pay Station", the item condition as "Used" and " - - - " and with the auction listing description saying simply "Cleaning out my dad's attic. Operating condition unknown, unable to test. Has some scratches and scuff marks, not perfect but a nice historical piece. Ear piece has some heavy scuffing."
