New forum members are very welcome and encouraged to take a guess. After all, there are no wrong guesses, just one lucky one. No one knows the winning bid on any auction until it ends. However, it is important to get your guess in before someone else grabs your guess.

Listed two days ago in a 7 day auction with no reserve and starting at a hefty $375.00 ( with thanks to Jim S. for a heads up on this listing ) is a matching date 6-58 clear WE F# 500. According to Jim S., that would indeed make this a rare soft plastic phone. About one day after the phone was listed, it received 1 bid. Will it go higher? If so, how much higher? This should be an another interesting auction to watch from our Michigan seller. So, who can best guess what this phone will sell for when the auction ends?

NOTE: we will use a $5 gap rule between guesses again to prevent crowding. As such, keep your guess at least $5 away from prior guesses for this contest.

The seller listed it as an "RARE Western Electric Clear Model 500" with the item condition as " - - - - " and " - - - " and with the auction listing description saying simply "Transparent Western Electric Model 500 Desk Set,  Used,  Untested,  Everything Dates 6/58, Proper Light Gray Cords,  Rare the Clear 500's were given as gifts to Bell & Western Electric Executives."

A year and a half ago, a phone just like this, 6-58 also, sold for $960. My guess: $1080
