I'm trying to add a line cord to this phone.  There are no L1 and L2 terminals like on most phones. It only has 6 terminals...R, B, GN, W, Y, and BK.

I can get a dial tone when I connect the line cord to B & W or R & W but it won't dial out and it pops when I dial each number.

I can answer calls and transmit.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Gary

This instrument requires a subset since it does not have its own induction coil, capacitors or a ringer. Several types of antisidetone subsets will work, such as a 685A or its equivalent.

Thanks G-Man...

I knew it needs a  subset to ring but I thought it would dial out like a 202 or candlestick without a subset.

Thanks,
Gary

I believe I read somewhere in the CRPF that there needs to be a jumper wire on this phone somewhere but I don't know what terminals it goes to or if this will make it dial out.

Thanks,
Gary
