I saw a 6-station Deveau intercom on ebay and watched it.  Nobody else bid on it so I got it for $20+shipping.  It's a metal intercom from the  20's and is in decent shape with some paint splatters on it but not hacked up or anything.  The transmitter looks like it's nickel under the black paint, judging from the back and the mouthpiece threads.

My plan is  to clean it up and mount it.  It's missing the receiver cap though, which is smaller in diameter than the typical WE/Kellogg/Leich caps. Would anyone have one?

Thanks
Jeff

It is solid.  I hadn't even thought to take notice of that before.  It's marked with the DeVeau symbol and has a pat date of what looks like Aug 14 1900, though it could be 1906 too..hard to read the last digit.  The receiver is heavy.
