Title: Really Different B1
Post by: Doug Rose on June 21, 2012, 11:01:16 AM
This is really different, a B mount on an A1 base.  Stamped E5 over the mousehole. 4H dial IV35 and the base dated III/36. This will go HIGH...Doug

This is an E mount (205, 208 etc) multi-line phone that was converted to single line. Looks like it was done in WE service center/distributing house. 1936 would be too late for B-1: the latest I have seen on those is 1932 and most are 1928-1930.

David...after I posted this, I thought about my 205 and saw the simiarities, especially the A base and B mount. Without the line buttons, it looks totally different....thanks...Doug.
