1915 Desk Stand

If anybody wants to save an old desk stand that has been brassed out, there is one for sale on Ebay that some idiot turned into a lamp.   Bellechoses6 is the villein.

You sure the seller is the villain or just someone trying to do a citrus conversion (lemon+lemonade) on someone else's mistake?

Easy to remove the lamp but less easy to refinish.

What is concerning is that the switch hook is too low so there might be something wrong inside.
