anyone have a we dial that isnt usable? Im needing one of the govenor springs,
Im pretty sure they are all the same.
also need a hook for a we 150 g payphone  separate t/r
porcelain dial cards for ae dial, either metro on rual

After removing the stop plate i discovered it wasnt a spring on the gov assy but attached to a paul that allowed the fingerwheel assy to wind up without moving the govonor..(the sound you hear when your selecting a #).

The spring was wound around the main part of the dial, cut 30% off.. rewound the remainder around a tiny nail, reinstalled.. WA LA..

It pulses the same as another dial in the great dial race, may have a little more wear on the mechanism..

A safety pin with the tip bent at a 90 degree angle was needed to reinstall the spring (probably 30 to 40 trys with a jewelers loupe..)
