One of our friends was cleaning out her parents' home to move them to assisted living, and she found this box in the garage.  Knowing I'm a phone guy, the box showed up on our porch..... ;)

Can anyone identify this?  It's obviously beat up, but did come with an old baggy full of a spitcup for the mouthpiece and a bunch of bakelite fragments.  Cool design.....  Thanks!

Its an Stromberg Carlson. They were made as phones as well. They are bakelite and were susceptible to damage as you can see. One trip to the floor could be devasting....Doug

Thanks guys for the feedback!  Good to know the brand, Doug.  Any idea on date?  I'm guessing 30s??

I'll probably take a look and see how complete the parts bag is.  If it's all there, I will probably attempt a reassembly.  Will crazy glue work well on bakelite?
