;D This is my 50's kitchen which needs lots of work. Thought you'd like to see some hilights. I'll show you the original oven, my replacement cooktop, original was burned out, with original hood, Kitchen sink, old toaster, and, my 50's appliance cart I will be using.
I couldn't get to the family Mix-Master yet, but, when I do, you'll see it's a goodie...  ;D

Well, shoot. The toaster picture didn't makee it into my documents folder. I'll have to re do it.
So, here is a picture of my mother's original table lamp sitting on top of our 1950 RCA Victor television set.
Shows a 16" BW picture!!!!!!  ;D

Found it! Found the toaster picture. It's not in great physical shape.

I like the 1950s aqua colors of the oven and sink, and the woodwork.
Yes, a Mix-master and toaster will be mandatory.
Some of those newer electronics will just have to go, of course... ;)
But where's the telephone? ;D

16" was a pretty big screen for 1950.  Must have been up at the top of the line that year?

Very nice set up,  and will be very retro when finished.

How much did the "Hazel" lunch box cost you ?

Like that wall paper patter over the cooktop.  And the range hood is way cool.  But where are all the phones?  Your kitchen cries out for a wall phone.

Dan/Panther

Bill happens to have a yellow wall phone I sent him.

Close to it. Either that year, or, 1951 RCA came out with a 19" model. That was their largest Non-projection size.

Still looking for an appropriate wall phone.
I have my '52 500 black  on the kitchen table. And, yes, I use it.
See my other post on my new phone number.

You might like a yellow WE554 wall phone in kitchens like that.

I rest my lower back.

That color, from mid '60's is exactly what I am looking for. My mother had a yellow WE 554 at that time.
