Following from Doug Rose's thread (http://www.classicrotaryphones.com/forum/index.php?topic=24036.0), and by popular demand (well, @FABPhones asked) here is my GPO No 16.
It's a very plain looking phone compared to the Ericsson version - all in black and no teardrop ornamentation on the cradle or transfers on the frame.
The tortoiseshell rimmed transmitter horn is not original to this phone as its horn was missing when I got it. Almost unbelievably my Father-in-law's brother was sorting some phone related bits he had and it appeared out of the blue a few years after I got the phone. I'm not sure where he got it from, but he worked on the railways for many years and 'acquired' a lot of stuff from there.
The phone itself was an eBay purchase in 2011 and cost me £283 - a price I was very happy with at the time.
