I just purchased an Automatic Electric three slot Payphone with an intact coin vault but no key. Is the only means to opening it to drill? Are keys for this somewhat universal? If I were to get an Automatic Electric lower box key will it likely not fit my lock? Would a professional  lock smith be able to pick the lock if I took it to a lock shop? Would the keys available from Phonecoinc work onthis?  I really would hate to damage this phone in any way. There's no hurry for me to get this open since its going to be a display piece anyway. I would like to have it eventually fully working and with the coin box accessible.  Thanks in advance for the help!

Each vault key is unique--fits only one lock.

You may have to drill out 2 screws on the back of the phone if you want to save the lock.

Then you can remove the back of the phone and access the lock and send it to Jody, who will make you a key.
