Ye Olde Lampmaker Strikes Again

Found this Dial Stick at a local mall a few days ago.  The paint looks factory, but I would appreciate opinions on the possibility of a factory finish.  Unfortunately the lampmaker got this before I did and cut off the transmitter.....

I got it for $50 less 10%, so I figured that was decent.  The dial is a Number 5

Any opinions on the paint is much appreciated.

Nice find, even with a few parts missing.
