Newark, NJ modified multi-slot

Shown in NJ Bell Coin Manual, 1970, is a diagram for prepay coin collectors (234G, 197GNT,etc.) modified with "subset" (network) in the upper housing. It also has a G1-type ringer.

Unlike the 236G, this modification uses the original 5 transfer contacts (Y, W, BB, BKX, and  R) + one additional new wire.
The 236G uses a 9-pin plug.
The ringer and capacitor are mounted in the lower housing of the Newark set. Unlike the 236G, it does not use
A and K on the network.


This modified phone was to be installed only in the City of Newark area of NJ Bell.

Has anyone found one of these?
