I saw this on Sunday when it first came on $39.99 with Free shipping.

After paying for it I saw this listed.... a great 6D for $19.99

They both look like NOS for $60 delivered! I have never seen an Imperial so perfect and it is heavy. I have an Ivory thermoplastic F1 and I have a Ivory leather base somewhere. This was right place....right time....Doug

The same seller has the mounting cord for $19, although one end was reterminated. Also, the handset sold Sunday for the best offer under $35. That's one way to try to get $135 for a Continental.

The phone didn't sell as a whole for enough the seller wanted, so he took it apart and sold the parts.

$20 for a 6D is good, because some people are willing to spend $50+ for those.  I bet it's dated III or IV 1955.

Given that alone, sure makes it very tempting to sell parts only. I got only something like $49 for an Imperial I sold a year ago, but I couldn't get myself to rip it apart.

High bid for complete phone was $15.50, including free shipping! Starting bid was 99 cents, but it had a reserve. Buy it now price was $199.

Dials were dated by month by 6-44.

That is commonly known.

Obviously, the point was that the dial from the second half of 55.

I got up early this morning, found all the parts I needed and it just fell together. That does not always happen for me building a phone. I can't make myself swap out the dial card.  ::)  Not bad for $60 delivered and my parts....Doug

There is something to be said for an ivory Tenite handset on a golden phone.
