Anybody remember using party lines, or being pestered by family members wanting to use the phone?  I certainly remember being scolded by parents, or intimidated by my brothers (or vise versa) for being on the phone too long.  Saw this phone timer and thought it belonged somewhere among my phones.   Don't think my kids would have approved to being limited to just 5 mintues

One of those might be useful during any of my frequent two-hour-long phone conference meetings ;)  There should be a model which disconnects the call when the time runs out.

In Wedowee, Alabama in the 1970s the party lines had timers in the central office that tore down the call after a set number of minutes.
