Hallo everybody, I am from Bucharest, Romania (Europe). I find this interesting forum about old telephones. I can add here some photos with my little collection if you want.  :)

Any telephones are welcome here, and pictures of them are even more welcome... :)

But I don't manage to upload.... :(

If you're having difficulty with uploading, take a look at this thread here which gives the instructions on how upload images from your computer to the forum:

Hope that helps... :)

i shall start with this telephone, which I know is an american one, but I don't know if it is a Bell or a Thompson-Huston. Maybe you know better. Theese telephones were used in romania since the '30 s until 60 - 70.

I wouldn't worry about that, there's a lot of people here in the UK people who can barely speak the English language themselves... :D

Now, two photos with another telephone of my collection. A romanian RS-7340, made by "Electromagnetica-Bucuresti" in 1957. It works very well and it is now in use ! I love to use it.  :)
In the third photo you will see another telephone of my collection, but the same type RS-7340, made in 1950. The photo was taken during cleaning, so you can see how it looks inside.

If you are interested I 'll add more photos with another telephones.

We are always interested in pictures of phones, especially uncommon ones.  There is a special board for posting them here: link

The Thomson-Houston company and phones made by them are probably related to the French company:

Here is a nice example of a Thomson/Houston telephone:
