Urgent Help needed

I am in an antique shop. See a red AE space saver with dial with clear plastic finger wheel. Value? Exc condition. Call me please 219-851-2803

Not sure which set you are talking about Red type 83 has a painted  metal shell, a type 183? space maker has a plastic shell with an adjustable dial mount . Red AE sets tend to be scarce compared to WE ones

I just called Tom but he ran out of time and was on the road again. It sounds as though it is a 183 rather than an 83A. I dont watch ebaY prices much anymore but in my opinion a red 83A in good shape with dial is likely worth close to $100 and a red 183 probably $150. That is more than most of these type of phones would normally bring but red isnt easy to find in either type.
