Hello everyone,

I just bought myself a WE Trimline phone from June, 1965. My question(s) is what slots do the wires on the end of the line cord go to in the plug, and also what is the white wire for?

Thank you,

- Westrex

Note: Yes, I know the plug is the wrong color and the color doesn't match the phone. I happened to have a spare plug for a different phone, but it didn't work, so this will work until I get one in the proper color.

Red pushes into R.
Green pushes into GN.
Yellow pushes into GN also.
Black pushes into BK.
White pushes into Y.

One side of the ringer is on the yellow wire to allow for party line ringing; for non-party lines, it needs to connect to the tip (green).
The black and white wires go to the lamp.  At the jack, the black and yellow should be connected to the 6V transformer for the dial light to work.
