Sony ICF-7600A 9 Bands Radio Sony Japan 1981

Janet found this at a yard sale this morning. Looks like it was never used or used very lightly. Manual is Dated 1981 and states Sony Japan and There is Japanese on the manual. Does anyone have any info on this.

When I google Sony icf-sw7600A there is no listing. Any info is greatly appreciated...Doug

It's a quite conventional radio but well built and it's sensitivity still compares to modern quality units.
