My first thought was an elevator.
It states '6A Handset Hamger' so probably worth looking for a BSP?
A collector of  'Monochrome Phones with Sepia Tones'   ...and a Duck!

This is a WE Elevator phone, I was think ship but I have only seen AE phones for ships...Doug
