I told someone a while ago I'd post a picture of this phone, but I can't remember who or what thread it was on.  Anyway, not the best picture, but it was taken through a display case.  It's in almost perfect shape.  Has matching gold handset and line cords.  I found it in the games section of a Salvation Army for $2 or $3(don't remember anymore, but does it really make a difference?)  ---Eric

Nice Gold 80 Eric! Yes I need to know....$2 or $3....it makes a huge difference! Imagine stealing like that from the Salvation Army....some peoples kids!

I thought it would have been this thread but I don't see a post from you in it.

Looks like a real one to me, not a repro or aftermarket job.

The dial number plate on that one appears to be actual double-shot molded rather than some kind of paint job.  In which case it was probably AE's way of commemorating a milestone such as the millionth AE 80 or some such.  WE did the same thing for Bell with 500s, except it might have been 10 million or some such.
