There are currently a bunch of phones listed from "20th century Props":

Each has a list of shows it was on (none from "I Love Lucy" that I noticed), although I don't recognize most. Certainly not famous phones, and they are IMO far overpriced for what they are.

Well, they are selling a cruddy green Starlight that was used in a Barbie commercial.  I'll just let D/P and Bill C. have a cat fight over that little gem... ;D ;)

Here's a link to some phones that 20th C. Props has for rent but NFS:

I bet Heath might like their "Shagadelic Lounge" collection... :D

And I'd love to have the repro 1939 Worlds' Fair airplane lamp! 8)

Or how about a highly useful styrofoam coffin once carried by Arnold S. in Terminator 3?  Only two grand...  Ya never know when one of those might come in handy... ??? :P

Hey!  How'd they get a picture of my living room?! ;D

One of us needs to buy one of these phones and take it apart and see what gives, is it just a shell or what?

The phones in films and TV shows never seem as beat up as these (note the dial position on that yellow phone in my auction link, too). Many of these look like they could have been pulled out of a dumpster. They look like $5-10 phones to me. And $42.80 for shipping? I wonder if any will sell.

If I were evil I would take an AE40, paint it gold, dirty it up, and say I found it in a dumpster near F. F. Coppolas' ranch near Napa, Calif.  Heh heh.

mienaichizu

Oh.  Private family business perhaps.  Maybe they sell a little olive oil on the side.

What dumpster did he pull these phones out of?

Maybe from those pretty pink dumpsters in West Hollywood? ;)
